British Retail Consortium Global Standards (BRCGS) is an internationally recognised, consumer protection organisation which sets out key quality and safety standards throughout the food manufacturing industry. It carries out yearly unannounced audits to keep the industry in check.
Recently, Lees of Scotland had a visit from BRCGS and were awarded an AA+ certificate.
Martin Ruck, Technical director, Lees of Scotland said:
“We are delighted to have achieved another AA+ grade in our audit.
“Being BRCGS certificated means we have consistency in our quality and hygiene standards and have protection through horizon scanning & confidence in our supply chains both inward & outwards.
“This certificate also gives our customers reassurance that our factory upholds the very best standards.”
The team have been busy celebrating, well done to everyone.
