On Saturday 18 June, Lees of Scotland hosted a family day event at its factory in Coatbridge for its employees and families.

The family day featured a DJ, bouncy slide, face painting, a Snowball hunt, factory tours, ice cream van, soak the manager game and much more.

Throughout the event, Lees of Scotland raised £1,122.00 for St Andrew’s Hospice – a specialist palliative care hospice, who provide free of charge multidisciplinary support for patients, families and carers across Lanarkshire.

Clive Miquel, CEO at Lees of Scotland said:

“We celebrated a milestone last year, proudly reaching 90 years in business.

“The success and longevity of the business is down to the local community and team work. This was a chance for us to express our appreciation and thank our colleagues for their continuous support and hard work. It was also a wonderful opportunity to show our employees’ families, and children the factory where they work. I think the kids had a great day out.”

Lees of Scotland employs 250 people, and operates out of a modern 80,000 sq ft factory, which is where the family day was held.
