Bert Croll has been in the sales business for forty-two successful years, spending twenty-five of them here at Lees of Scotland.

When Bert first joined the business in 1998 the company’s turnover was £7.2 million and by 2014, he had managed to increase it to £21.3 million.

He has built incredible relationships across the industry and secured many valued stockists, making sure our products are more accessible for our customers.

David Simson, Finance Director, Lees of Scotland said:

“Bert has always been a real business man, professional and popular throughout the team. He had time for everyone, always offering to support his colleagues, with outstanding attention to detail.

“He has committed so much of his time to ensure the growth of business in the good times, and the survival of business in the difficult times.

“He will be undoubtedly missed.”

The team got together today to celebrate Bert’s career and say their goodbyes. We wish him all the best as he begins his well deserved retirement.
